Very handy tester!

This is a handy little device. I already have the LI tester and I picked up the AL tester because it has support for additional guns, especially some of the cooler ones like the Laser Ally and Dragoneye Compact. It's been a great way to test and see which jammers and detectors can detect some of the trickier new guns. Using the tester is a little bit tricky given that it only has two buttons. You have to cycle through the menu to select the gun you want which was a little tricky to figure out at first. You can't go too quickly and you have to wait a second for each button press to register, so going all the way end to select the Compact (9 presses) can take a little time. Not only that, but the gun you select times out after 10 seconds and it resets itself. That means that if you sit around a bit before you start shooting, you'll have to go back through the process and select the gun you want. It doesn't remember the gun you've selected previously. It always defaults to the first gun in its list, the Marksman/Ultralyte. I wish it would remember the last gun you selected so you wouldn't have to go back through every time. It also is a little confusing to get started. The first button press to wake it up doesn't actually count as a button press to select what gun you want. Thus if you want to select the second gun in the list, you need 3 presses, not 2. The first press of either button wakes the device up, and the next two go through the list. A little confusing at first, but once you know about it, it's not too big a deal. I prefer the LI tester for ease of use. You simply press the button for the gun you want and it instantly fires. No fuss, no hassle. The AL tester has support for more guns and pulserates and if you want to simulate some of the VPR guns like the Traffipatrol XR, Laser Ally, or Dragoneye Compact, get this one.

Works very well to confirm the AL Priority system is working. Ridiculous cost and even more ridiculous shipping fees through!
